Description
The UpShift Digital Team is looking for energetic, results oriented outside sales professional with proven strategic and consultative sales experience. Using self-generated contacts, referrals and leads provided from UpShift Digital’s network, you grow revenue by selling digital automotive products to franchise and independent car dealers. In addition, you will help retain satisfied, loyal customers after the sale as they continue to increase share of wallet across entire dealer base.
Responsibilities
- Cold call prospects in-person in an assigned sales territory
- Sell UpShift Digital products to key decision makers (GM and Owner level)
- Consistently achieve monthly sales and revenue growth targets
- Keep records of interaction with prospects and existing customers
- Maintain a strong relationship with the dealership after the sale, particularly at the GM/Owner level, and keep them fully updated by meeting with them at least once a month
- Work with dealers and vendors to collect necessary franchise information needed to launch customers on products.
- Achieve high customer satisfaction scores based on dealer surveys
- Provide ongoing product feedback from the field with solutions where possible
- Bring an entrepreneurial, proud team spirit to work each day
- Travel locally
Requirements
- Proven track record selling products to automobile dealerships at the GM/Owner levels
- Knowledge of both fixed and variable operations within a dealership
- Mastery of sales pipelines, sales cycles and activity needed to continuously achieve and/or exceed sales targets
- Enjoy working in a high risk, high reward environment
- Successful track record, aggressively growing and retaining business in a designated territory
- Excellent oral, written, analytical and listening skills
- Superior presentation skills in front of small and large audiences
- Strong networking attributes and ability to create a positive regional brand reputation
- Self starter with the ability to successfully operate in a contract sales environment with out-of-state management team
- BA/BS degree or adequate experience preferred
Compensation
This position is a contract sales position offering the opportunity for a highly competitive sales acquisition fee and monthly commissions. This position also offers the ability to work remotely from a home office.
